It offers National Certificate (Vocational), NATED/Report 191, and occupational programmes across various engineering disciplines. This campus continues to serve as an engineering hub of the institution, which is well equipped with multiple workshops and trade testing centres to train and certify students in various trades. These facilities are providing practical experience in various recognised qualifications, helping students to secure employment easily. These workshops provide both training and trade testing, allowing students to gain practical skills and certification without needing to outsource the process of obtaining their trade test certificates.

Sir Val Duncan Campus is one of the leading campuses in South Africa which is accredited as trade testing centre for multiple engineering trades. They include Diesel Mechanic, Pipe Fitter Boilermaker, Bricklayer, Carpenter and Electrical Engineering.
